Conclusion: I am happy with my purchase. Planning on upgrading the memory in the near future. I only wished they chosen a better screen with the laptop but for the sub $500 purchase it’ s a good purchase.

Toshiba Portege R835-P81 We purchased a Toshiba Satellite tv Pro R840 laptop for the 13 year old daughter. He chipped in birthday money to make this purchase. After one month the particular screen developed a crack. It was not lowered or had nothing dropped in addition to it. Toshiba would not swap the screen. They insisted that it had been mishandled so therefore it had been not covered by their particular warranty. We had to pay out over $200. 00 to replace the particular screen. I hope amazon can build it right, but I had to purchase return shipping so i’m still reasonably fuming regarding it. toshiba 46wx800u I had this for regarding 2weeks and the image is nice and the gaming mode is awsome however the standard of the TV is not. after every week the panel between the led and glass on the proper hand aspect began to return off!!! Got this toshiba 42sl417u 3 weeks back, once the intial learning curve TV operating great.
Picture (5 star): great image Bright and sharp, provides a sony a run for its cash
Net TV (4 star): once the intial learning curve, worked seamlessly once hooking up the wifi. Had to decision Toshiba client service to learn a way to use internet TV ( wasn’t very intutive). They were paitent and gave sensible recommendations on using net TV functionality. Netflix is sweet, but missing Huluplus
Compatiblity: Hooked ATT Uverse and Sony Blu ray HTS and television worked perfectly fine with the U-verse remote.
Sound (3 star): nearly as good as any samsung or sony in this class. but home theatre system is needed for tight sound, which is true for alternative TVs additionally.
